Today, last day in Singapore.
Went for breakfast at West Mall, had kaya toast, went with my sis, Juan.
Went UOB bank to open an account.
Went back to West Mall hunting for bubble wrap to wrap up the electric bike my aunt bought for Zack. Went post office, too small, probably can wrap the handle of the bike, went Popular bookshop, but still small, at least bigger than the one sold in post office. Phil came out with another idea, we went to Tom & Stefanie shop, got 1 of the salesgirl to find out a big plastic bag, after 20 minutes or so, she came out with 2 big plastic bag of the right size or rather bigger, THAT'S WHAT WE WANT!!!! We headed back home, put Zack to sleep and started wrapping the bike. (Thank you eryi for the bike)
Last but not least, I went for a last minute manicure and pedicure at West Mall. Hahaha...typical me, did it the last time. Well, it is cheaper in Singapore than in England. OK...after mani and pedicure, we rushed home, had shower and went for dinner at the coffee shop downstairs dabu's home. Dabu, Jiumu, Jia Jia & Philip went down for dinner too, but sit on another table. Well, my Zack was quite attached to Philip & Jia Jia, went to sit with them. My dad went to pay for the dinner, he came back to the table, smiling (umm chio), we asked how much the dinner, he said $90, Juan said, can't be, hahaha...my dad can't keep secret. I told Phil can't tell my dad about our surprise. Hahaha... Anyway, it come out to be about $50. Not bad huh? Can't get the chinese dinner we had in England for £14.
OK...time to head to the airport. Thank God for advanced technology, we checked-in online, so don't have to rush, all we have to do is head straight to the Fast Bag drop-in. Had about 45 minutes to go, my mum, por, gong, eryi, sumyi, my 3 sisters and Liangwei were there to send us off, and of cos, Zack was playing with the toy cars eryi bought. I was sad to leave, but have to think of something to do. I was even sad-der when I went through the immigration, tried not to look back so often to my waving mum, sisters, por, gong and aunties, or else I will burst out in tears. After immigration, we went to perfume DFS to get perfumes, I bought a Issey Miyake and Phil bought a Chanel Allure Homme Sport. They are our favourite fragrance.
BYE BYE Singapore, see you some time in 2008!!! :~(
Dear all aunties and uncles, please try not to get big toys for Zack, it is not easy for us to bring it back to England. Luckily, this time is alright, or we will have to pay for extra baggage. Thank you all for your toys, red packets, clothes, shoes, etc for Zack. Zack is spoiled now.
