Phil went to Poole Hospital to collect his mum's property from the Patients' Property section. Phil came back with his mum's clothes, a pair of glasses, slippers and walking stick. Zack saw them and said, "grandma's". Sad isn't it? Zack will miss her. We are trying not to mention the word "grandma" infront of Zack and trying not to remind Zack of grandma too.
Sometimes Zack will still mention grandma, when we are about to arrive at Phil's dad house, Zack will say grandma's house. Now, we have to change him to say grandad's house. Sigh...
Anyway, Phil collected the death certificate too and went to the registrar office to register his mum's death. On the death certificate, the doctor wrote that she died of pneumonia. Well...it is a very common illness where most elderly people die of. At least she died without any trauma or with tubes or machines around her. I suppose it's kindof a peaceful death. Well...now most things had been sorted and settled except to attend the funeral. It's going to be a quiet one, as she doesn't has many relatives, she is the youngest, most of her elder sisters died, left with some cousins. Can't imagine and think what will happen on that day, as in, how Phil's dad going to handle it. At the moment, he is not handling it very well, he looks upset, down, confused, etc... Phil has to deal with everything, including the funeral arrangement. God please strengthen Phil physically and mentally. He has to look after his dad now, it isn't easy when he go back to work. O God, you know and planned our future, please help us Lord.
